Wear something that makes you comfortable

We know these days can be a little rough. You’re exhausted, trying to heal, and your body feels unrecognizable. If you don’t feel comfortable in a particular outfit, don’t wear it! Find something in your closet that fits well and you feel good in. Some moms come to the studio in dresses, some come in jeans and a sweater. It’s truly about what you feel good in!

Neutral colors work great

Another tip when you’re deciding what to wear to newborn photos: consider where you might display your photos in your home. Solid neutral colors are timeless and go well with most home decor. Grays, whites, beiges, and blacks are great choices. You can also add in some color palettes like wearing light blue and mixing dark blue for your spouse. Generally, we say to avoid busy patterns, as they can add a distraction to the photos. The studio has lots of solid wraps for your baby to help coordinate! We also have a few dresses at the studio if you’d like to choose one of those instead.
