Here in Pittsburgh, we have some amazing variety for maternity photo locations. From the city to sprawling fields and parks, there really is something for everyone. We’ve photographed in each of these locations countless times, so you can be guaranteed they are good for photo sessions!
1. Mellon Park – Shadyside
Mellon Park provides a picturesque backdrop and a ton of variety for a maternity session. With its lush gardens and charming architecture, this location offers a serene and timeless atmosphere for your maternity photo session. There are so many places to photograph in this park! 2. North Park – McCandless
Looking for a grassy field or some water scenes? Look no further than the scenic beauty of North Park. The winding lake, open fields, and wooded trails create a stunning and natural setting for photos. And we know just the right spots to get that golden sunset glow. 3. Our Studio – North Hills
Torn between indoor and outdoor photos? You can have both at our studio! After some photos in our light, airy, and boho indoor room, we can step outside into a field for some golden grasses photos. 4. The Mansion at Hartwood Acres – Hampton Twp
There is nothing quite like the Mansion at Hartwood Acres. This historic location exudes sophistication and charm, creating a unique backdrop for your maternity photos. From the amazing stone mansion and stained glass windows to the perfectly manicured gardens, there is so much to work with at this beautiful location.
5. Washington’s Landing – Pittsburgh/city
For an urban twist, Washington’s Landing provides natural park beauty in the city. Greenery, old stone steps, trails, rivers, and bridges all offer a diverse range of settings for your maternity session. We love all the great spots to photograph here, and there’s easy parking, too!
6. North Shore – Pittsburgh/city
We added one more favorite spot as a bonus! The North Shore is one of our favorite spots to for maternity photos. It offers SO much variety in an easily walkable space. You just can’t beat the city and river views! We’ve done many engagement photo sessions there (like the one below), and we have lots of great spots to get the same feel for a maternity session.
