4 Reasons You’ll Love Our Studio
When looking for a newborn photographer in the Pittsburgh area, you might be overwhelmed with choices. One main decision to be made is if you will choose an in-home session or a studio session. We captured in-home newborn sessions for years, but we could not be happier with our decision to open our own studio. I (Kelly) had my own newborn’s photos taken in my home. Although I have beautiful photos of her, I was so stressed about getting everything ready, having rooms with enough light, and wondering if I had props we could use. The early days with a newborn is not the time to add extra stress. Here are 4 reasons why you will love a newborn photo session at our North Hills studio!
1. Our photography studio is newborn focused
Aside from occasional indoor mini sessions, we only photograph newborns in our studio. We get everything we need ready before each session to ensure an efficient, beautifully lit and styled setup for your little one. We have it all: blankets, wraps, and backdrops of all colors, plus accessories like headbands, hats, and tiny stuffed animals. Plus, professional lighting set up to ensure perfect light on the baby, every time. We also take every precaution necessary to keep your baby safe, warm, and comfortable as we capture those perfect features.
2. We designed our newborn studio to serve YOU!
When we designed the layout of our studio, we knew the newborn accessories and studio equipment were important. But almost as important is the way we want to serve new moms and dads like you! Since we are moms ourselves, we thought about the type of space we would have loved as new parents. Our parent side of the studio has soft lighting and music, a coffee station, snacks and baked goods, a fridge with drinks, and a comfy couch. There’s also a fully equipped diaper changing station, and the room can be closed off with the curtain for nursing privacy. We hear all the time that the space is soothing and welcoming, which is exactly the goal!
3. You don’t have to clean your house!
You’ve just had a baby, and you are finding yourself in a whirlwind of healing, new worries, lack of sleep, and learning all about the brand new person who joined your family. We remember those days, and they can be tough! The last thing you need to worry about is getting even one space in your house photo-ready. Leave all of that behind for a few hours and come relax in our studio. We will do all the prep work! If you are adding family photos into the mix, you only have to worry about getting yourself ready. We even have a few dresses to choose from if you’d like!
4. Our North Hills newborn studio is convenient!
When we were looking at locations for or studio, we wanted it to be easy to access from anywhere in the Pittsburgh area. Our building is conveniently located right off of McKnight Rd, in McCandless. We are minutes from Ross Twp, Wexford, Franklin Park, and Cranberry. Many of our clients come from Robinson, the South Hills, etc, and it’s a pretty easy trip! We have many restaurants, stores, and coffee shops nearby, so a lot of new parents end their morning with lunch! We know that you will find your studio newborn session worth it. Come on out and have some time to yourself while we take care of your little one and capture this amazing time.
