What Happens After Your Newborn Photo Session?
After you’ve had your newborn photo session, you may be wondering what happens after your newborn photo session. Two of our most asked questions are: How long does it take to get my photos? How many photos can I expect to choose from? Here are a few quick answers for you!
Gallery Delivered Within 1 Week
We leave each session excited to hand edit each one of the images you will receive. Using our editing software, we do a very light and basic edit to ensure even lighting and colors. The package you choose includes a set number of images. You will favorite this number of images in your gallery, and then we hand edit each of those images. This includes smoothing out skin tone, removing blemishes, smoothing backdrops, etc.
Of course if you choose the Premier package, you get all of the images in your gallery!
An Email with a Link and Easy Download Instructions
After your favorited images are edited, you’ll receive an email containing a secure link and simple download instructions. We want to make the process as seamless as possible, allowing you to access and cherish your newborn’s images effortlessly. This link can be shared with family and friends, as well. There are also print options within the gallery, in case you’d like to order prints from our professional lab.
Gallery Image Amount
The amount of photos in your gallery will depend on a few things: mainly the package you booked and the sleepiness of the baby (don’t worry – we send a lot of tricks to help with this!). For our newborn only package, you can expect somewhere around 35-45 photos to choose from. For our newborn + family package, you can expect somewhere between 60-100 photos. When you book a session within the first 14 days of the baby being born, plus following our tip sheet we send, we have a lot of success with different setups. We can typically get between 4-6 different setups in the session.
Additional Product Information
If you’re interested in turning these memories into other tangible keepsakes, the email will include additional product information. From prints to canvases, we offer a variety of options to help you showcase and share these beautiful moments. And with the Premier package, you also get a $100 credit to use toward prints and products!
A Review Request
Your feedback is invaluable to us! We genuinely care about your experience, so we may reach out for a review request after the session. We know how hard those first few weeks are with a newborn, so this is optional, of course!
