Newborn-Only Sessions | Kelly Adrienne Photography

Parents of a newborn are naturally nervous at the thought of taking their new little one out to a photography studio for a session. Will they scream? Constantly be hungry? Can we as parents manage to put on real clothes and get out of the door on time? Its stressful! We can totally relate! With 6 kids between us, we absolutely remember how intimidating those first few outings with a newborn were! This is one of the many reasons we LOVE doing newborn sessions in our cozy studio. If you’d love some beautiful photos of your newborn but don’t want to stress about getting yourself ready for photos, then a newborn-only session might be right for you.

We all know that swaddling involves wrapping a newborn baby snugly to provide a sense of security and comfort. Your baby has spent their entire existence in the womb, which is a warm and snug environment. That’s why we have at least 4 setups that include some type of wrapping. The baby stays nice and warm and snug, and we are able to transition them easily to different props. This type of session is usually around an hour.
